clamav-base software package provides anti-virus utility for Unix - base package, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install clamav-base
clamav-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the clamav-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep clamav-base *
You will get with clamav-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
